HIGHLY recommend without reservation. Kostas filmed two very personal, important family events for us. The quality and artistry of the films he produced was exceptional. I am certain his videos will be family heirlooms. Kostas was extremely reliable, honest, thoughtful, and personable. He listened closely to our needs and followed instructions exactly. He also respectfully added suggestions, solicited personal touches (music, key interviews with family, photos to incorporate with video), and spent ample time and energy collecting and editing perfect shots of the setting and events. He was very caring, empathetic and passionate about the work and our whole family is grateful for his efforts. Don't hesitate to work with him. Thank you very much, Kostas.

Kostas was very professional and really stuck to the schedule I wanted for my wedding. The pictures of my wedding are beautiful and everyone in my family and my husbands family love them!! I was hesitant about getting a video originally and I am so happy we got one becasue it is my favorite part of my wedding package! It is amazing, Koostas got all the songs we played at the wedding and got beautiful shots of the empty church, and comments from family and friends. The final products we received went above and beyond our expectations. Kostas returns phone calls and emails promptly, he even replied to an email from me while he was on vacation in Greece!!! I would recommend Petrakos films for any wedding.

The above 5 star review does not give full justice to the exceptional effort and product produced by Petrakos Films. If more stars could be issued....I would gladly enter ten!! Upon meeting Kostas he introduced us to his passion and told us a little about himself too. His honesty and openness allowed us to fully explore our options and to choose the perfect package for our wedding. After signing the contract, Kostas maintained close yet respectful contact with us during the days prior to our wedding. He worked diligently in preparation for our special day. At no point did we doubt his efforts or question his ability. On the day of our wedding, Kostas...true to form, maintained the professionalism and energy that months before had won our hearts. He was truly one of the hardest working members of the wedding cast and the final product was a testament to the special day enjoyed by all. He captured magical moments through film and photos. We will be forever grateful to Kostas for his efforts and highly recommend him to anyone for any occasion.

Kostas Petrakos exceeded my expectations by far. I was on the beach one day with my wife, trying and failing to get a good photo of myself for my website. I saw Kostas, with his camera, taking pictures of something else, so I asked him for advice about lighting. He offered to take the pictures for me, at a very fair price, and I agreed. I was amazed at the professionalism of his equipment, and at the quality of his photos. He then offered to spend the day taking photos of my wife and I on the beach, without charging us a dime unless we later decided to buy them. I don't imagine that this is how he or other photographers normally work, but it seemed pretty clear that he was doing this primarily because of his passion for photography rather than a desire to make a buck. He took his time and chose some incredibly gorgeous spots to get the shots. He helped my wife and I to relax. We laughed and chatted and got to see some beautiful nature that we might not have discovered were it not for Kostas's discerning eye. He was extremely friendly, all along. And when he showed us the photos online, we were blown away by their quality, clarity, and composition. He threw in a video montage, just for fun, which we didn't expect or request and which was amazing as well. And so, I recommend Kostas without hesitation for any and all photographic and film-related needs: weddings, engagements, websites, etc. Heck, he even showed us a video he produced for, I think it was the tourism authority for Greece, or something like that, and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the film. So if you're making a Hollywood blockbuster and need a professional cinematographer, I imagine he'd do a great job with that too!

Kostas is very professional and great to work with. We have had the great pleasure of working with him twice now, filming Rhodes Scholar, ER Physician and Questbridge Founder Dr. Michael McCullough's "Dispelling Premed Myths" talk at Stanford University. He really pays attention to the details and brings passion to his work. For example, after filming, he took the film home and watched it with his wife, and personalized the menu on the film with pictures etc. as an added bonus. We honestly cannot imagine having anyone else film it in future years we are so happy with the results, and would recommend him to anyone, for any occasion.
